We will be "GTHS Cycling" for 2012-2013

Thanks to the community for all the support!

I've taken on a position teaching at the brand new Grand Terrace High School and will be forming the mountain bike team there.

At this point the logistics are just not working for a district wide composite team so this will become the "Grand Terrace High School Mountain Bike Team".
In reality there will be little change other than location. We are still within the Colton School District but we will concentrate our efforts at GTHS. Any donations of funds or materials have moved with me to GTHS but if you have any questions please feel free to email.

PLEASE REDIRECT ANY INQUIRIES TO THE NEW SITE AND EMAIL:

I look forward to continued support from you for the GTHS Mountain Bike Team!

Supporters needed for Colton Composite Mountain Bike Team!

Help build the first H.S. Mountain Bike Team in the Colton District!

COLTON DISTRICT COMPOSITE TEAM NEEDS YOUR HELP!
We receive no money from the District and our kids are raising all the funds for the team equipment, insurance, race fees, materials, bike maintenance etc. As the head coach and sponsor for the team I receive no stipend for coaching and have been investing my own funds into team bikes.

Please consider donating to or sponsoring our young athletes and make an impact in their lives. I truly believe this is a great program for students to be involved in! This is a Spring Semester Sport so we are in the building stage. All donations are tax ductible as are gifts in kind.

We plan to roll out a complete cycling program in 2012-2013 school year at the new Grand Terrace High School! Now is when sponsors can make a big impact, providing the funds necessary for us to hit the ground "rolling" with equipment and community support! What an exciting time!

Ready to start 2012 on two-wheels!

Colton Composite Team is gearing up to start the new year on two-wheels! Fundraising has been successful and we will be starting out 2nd Semester with our first team practices.

We plan to have "tech days" learning about bike care and setup, "skill drills" learing how to handle our bikes with proper technique and "training rides" where we get out there and ride ride ride!

I'm excited for the kids on the team and eager to get them started. There have been many steps along the way to get the team set up. . . but 2012 is our year!

I'll continue to seek out community business sponsors this holiday break to partner with Colton Composite Team.

If you know of a business that may want to become a sponsor/advertiser with our team to help make this a reality for our awesome kids then please contact me.

Thanks and have a great Christmas season!
